Value Stream Analysis is a methodology for optimizing R&D organizations and processes.
It provides transparency regarding who and how many FTEs are involved in processes and work products that deliver direct value to the customer (“value streams”). It measures how much effort is allocated to the individual value streams.

By establishing a baseline for the actual operating model within the value stream analysis framework, optimization measures can be identified. These measures are data-driven and aim to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the entire R&D organization.

Customer Benefits

  • A transparent overview of how expenses are distributed across the value chain
  • Data-Based Derivation of Optimization Potential Across Different Company Levels
  • Quantitative baseline for evaluating optimization measures at the work product level

The R&D value stream analysis focuses on core value creation to reduce process complexity and time to market.
